Apple TV FAQs
Q: Are there parental controls on the TV?
A: Not at this time.
Q: Is there anything special Windows users need to do or know before hooking up the Apple TV?
A: The Apple TV is designed to work seamlessly with both Mac and Windows operating systems by using iTunes. As long as you meet the requirements for running Apple TV, there's nothing special Windows users need to do to use an Apple TV.
Q: Does Apple TV really require an HDTV?
A: No, but it does require a TV with a component input (or HDMI, which is only available on HDTV and some EDTV sets). Component input consist of three jacks - Red, Green & Blue. Note that older TVs often have composite input (single yellow jack) or possibly S-Video input (round black 4-pin connector). There is no cost-effective way to convert the Apple TV's component or HDMI output to connect to a TV that has only composite or S-Video inputs.
Q: In which countries can tv shows and movies be bought through the itunes store?
A: Currently, the list of supported countries only includes The United States.
