Apple TV to Add YouTube Support
Numa Numa on Widescreen
On May 30 Apple announced that they will be adding YouTube support to the Apple TV via a free software update. What does this mean for you? If you own an Apple TV you can wirelessly stream YouTube videos directly from the site to your widescreen television by using your Apple TV. You can also surf YouTube's site through the Apple TV interface (no more huddling around a computer screen to watch Lonely Girl).
This new feature will be available in mid-June with the most current and popular YouTube videos, and by fall all the videos on the site will be viewable with the Apple TV.
Also, the videos won't be Flash, they'll be re-encoded in Apple's preferred format, H.264. What does this move mean for Apple and YouTube?

The more content that is available on the Apple TV the more appealing the device will be. The challenge will be to make the content available through a consistent interface, and preserve a great uer experience for all.
