What will you do if you have some .mpg files and would like to put and play them on Samsung Galaxy S Captivate/Vibrant/Epic 4G/Fascinate? I searched for a media player or downloadable codec to play MPEG-2 files without conversion like the VLC media player on computer. Some would recommend Rock Player and some mentioned about yxplayer. I tried and they are not the perfect players yet. With the Rock Player, I can play MPEG-2 and VOB files. But it will skip to the end if I click to forward the video playback, and some videos does not show with the right aspect ratio. The yxplayer could only show jittery videos.
I googled to find a solution to play TV files from DVB-T in MPEG-II format and VOB files on Android, and the currently there is no best player on Android to play the files without conversion. I then need to convert MPEG-II and VOB files to Samsung Galaxy S default player supported formats like 3gp(mp4), AVI(divx), MKV, FLV.
Step 1. Load videos to Aunsoft Video Converter.
